KORG NAUTILUS - The new Kronos

I had not actually seen Korg come up with one successor of Kronos until now.
I have looked through the manual, as well as seen many videos.
I have chosen to show a French video demo, simply because this one is very well made.



In my opinion, Korg has corrected all the mistakes they made with Kronos - they have, among other things, omitted the Karma technology, created a completely new layout that is concentrated on the use of the touch screen, with beautiful and neat layout of menus.

Korg has also done something only they can - you can tailor your chosen sounds by putting / moving up to 128 sounds in 128 banks as YOU want.
The few buttons that are, are well lit, unlike Kronos.

The only downside I find is that you have to choose the 88-keys model to get hammer action keys.


I will most likely buy this model as soon as I get the chance.

i loved the kronos, 
but i found it complicated and  even worse worse to load, the sound quality was excellent though and in more capable hands
seems to be be the go to  for professional players

The nautilus seems to be the next direction

Thanks for your comment - I share your opinion 100%.
Kronos was a nightmare to load; almost nothing worked, although the manual was followed precisely.

I've been very skeptical of one successor of Kronos, but I really have to say that Korg - unlike Yamaha - has done a great deal to meet criticism from professional users.
Nautilus may look simple, but is at least as advanced as Kronos, but all functions are screen-controlled - the screen is also better and easier to use, plus the contrast can be adjusted.

The few buttons that are there are direct access, which makes switching between desired functions easier than ever.
I also like that they have left out the Karma technology, because this one crashed all the time with Kronos.

It's fun to compare Yamaha and Korg when it comes to Genos and Nautilus, because both models should be a result of professional users' criticism being taken into account.
Nautilus can be said to satisfy users' wishes far beyond what was expected, while Genos with its limited detail layout has excluded professional users in general.

I'm wildly excited about Nautilus.
