Eq Exciter Insert Effect - Korg Pa700

Has anyone used the Eq Exciter insert effect with any of there sounds?
General Music WK4, Technics Kn5000, Solton Ms60, Yamaha Psr K1, Tyros 4, Korg Pa50sd and Korg Pa700, Korg Pa5x Paas Mk2 Speaker and Yamaha Genos

absolutely, 

but this is a very hard insert effect to use, most of the time it's used to make a dark sound brighter.

Technical info:
To know how to use this you need to know what an exciter does. And to simplify it it does the following:
- it filters the low end of your original signal with a high pass filter
- the resulting frequencies (so the highest frequencies of your original sound) get a subtle distortion signal treatment. As discussed earlier, saturation is basically adding distortion to the high frequencies.
- then the high end is replaced in your original signal and combined with the other frequencies for the total sound and this gives the user the perception that the sound is brighter (more excited) then it was before. 
- there is also a perception due to the exciter process that the signal is louder and as i said before, most people feel that a louder signal is a better signal.

So it can be a very good insert fx tool to spice up some of the duller sounds.
