CREATING SCENES HAS NEVER BEEN SO EASY - LISTEN TO THIS
There is an insane dynamic in the sub-bass range here with my sound system.
Watch this video from 7:40 onwards.
Each scene consists of 8 elements, all of which can be selected directly, as well as arpeggio and chord type selection.
With this setup, the need for intros and endings is eliminated, because it is easier than ever to start and end with as many elements as you want - you can tap in or out as many as you want with one tap.

So you've had the DS edition ?
People should take note of what Roland has actually done:
They've put most of the Fantom O into the D - keybed, buttons, sounds are identical - but more user-friendly arranged.
If you look at what Yamaha has done with the MOD X, they've used a cheaper keybed, while everything else is identical (almost) to the Montage M - but no more user-friendly; actually less.
And they did everything AFTER Roland, but haven't learned anything.
And the price ?
Yamaha is MUCH more expensive..!

i cant remeber which model of the Juno I had back then, but the model your looking at certainly looks a lot easier to use than the Modxm or Montage
Your right about yahama reusing alot of there stuff in multipul keyboards which I suppose make financal sense.
