Auditioning Sounds And Styles Fatal…

It was my big wish to buy Pa5X this year, but something came in between and so this plan is postponed at unknown time. Maybe in next year.. if at all. Keyboard can be expensive hobby  26 [Image: smile.png]

Precisely because saving advanced edits MUST be done as RGT on Yamaha's, I switched to Korg.
Again.

Also, the Pa5X is the easiest I've seen in terms of storage, because this can be done with a keystroke no matter what process you're in.
You should buy it.
Sell house and car.

This IS an expensive hobby, and for me it's even worse, because I'm also a HiFi freak and have 2 workshops.
Something new is always needed in HiFi, and tools and machines are not cheap either.
House and car are always given lower priority.

I have a kind wife.  28

Now you really made me laugh 22

Yes, I only use registrations when absolutely necessary. For example, when I need to save OTS (L,R1,R2,R3) voices for free playing -because that's the only way to save them if style isn't needed.

PS: don't switch your wife by mistake -she's a keeper 31

The only thing I would use registrations for I to save banks of my favourite sounds / sound combos and then use as an ots in a style or one of the registrations one the fly.

I do exactly the same on my Korg Pa700 in the user and direct keyboard sets.

Just as you can easily end up with endless styles, the same can be said for your favourite sounds and combos because you can sit and tweak and end up with so many variations of the same registration

+1 to an expensive hobby
