Having done some further tests using the drum edit function, I have found adding some of the early reflections reverb on the snare and sometimes the Toms seem to work well.

Ive not added any eq to the drums.
General Music WK4, Technics Kn5000, Solton Ms60, Yamaha Psr K1, Tyros 4, Korg Pa50sd and Korg Pa700, Korg Pa5x Paas Mk2 Speaker and Yamaha Genos
