SOON: NEW TYPE OF STYLES - REAL FreeStyle
The purpose of creating extended info for styles is not only to provide an extended overview, but also to provide a systematic overview of which style elements can be combined with each other.
In one respect, Korg styles are very different from those of other manufacturers:
Intro 2 and 3 as well as Ending 2 and 3 do not follow a chord pattern - they are structured exactly like Variations without chord progression, and can be freely varied chord-wise.
Intro 2 is particularly interesting, because this also often has 4 bars, which makes it suitable for use as a Variation.
This overview is absolutely necessary to see which elements can be used for this purpose, and is a constructive part of my next upcoming style project, where I intend to create a new type of styles that is 100% FreeStyle, something Korg's FS styles are not.
This means that this new type of styles can be freely varied chord-wise in ALL parts, much like Yamaha's Free Styles, which are more technically advanced than Korg's.
Korg also has styles with Fills and Breaks that have more than 1 bar (measurement), which can be used as Variations.
These styles will therefore have completely new Variations, which are built up with Intro 2 as Variations; in some cases also probably with Fills/Break.
Intro 1 and Ending 1 are also replaced, so that the style becomes 100% FreeStyle - Real FreeStyle.
The new type of styles will be available soon.
