SIGNIFICANT LIMITATION FOR OLDER STYLES DETECTED

It is perfectly fine to play styles from previous models.
However: If you add an effect (e.g. Stereo Compressor) as an Insert effect and then set Limiter to ON, things go horribly wrong.

The sound is strongly distorted and compressed, and to such an extent that it becomes unbearable.
The same applies to styles created from midi with Style Works.

This is very seriously flawed programming, and means that Limiter cannot be used on styles from earlier models or on styles created from midi with Style Works.


I have tested a number of styles that I have made from midi, as well as original styles from Pa1x, Pa2X, Pa3X and Pa4X - all have the same deficiency.

This shortcoming can of course be avoided by adjusting down each individual track instead of using the Limiter, but it involves a lot more work.
