Yesterday I started a revoicing of the A3000, which I am still working on.
Initially I'm revoicing all styles I've converted from Technics, GEM, Wersi and Korg.

This is a colossal job, but at the same time incredibly rewarding, because all styles have first been given the best internal drum kits, and were already better than any Yamaha styles.

Many styles now sound almost as if they come from Kronos, with drum kits originally made for Kronos.
Although the drum kits now only have 16 bit resolution compared to the previous 24 bit, the difference is significant - I've never heard anything like it from any arranger before - even Audya at its best has no chance - Genos with their Revo drums too.

A new world of old styles has been discovered, and only Kronos and Nautilus can do this better.


When I finish revoicing the A3000, I plan on trying to convert the same drum kits to a format Pa2X can import - who knows what this will sound like if it works.

Thank you for your interest.
However, it will be very difficult for someone to try my finished results, because all these styles use drum kits that I put on the expansion card with YEM.

All styles' drum kits must then be changed to use them from the expansion card.

If others are to be able to use my set, I have to save my drum kits as PPF with YEM, and then save all my style settings on A3000 - both of these file sets must then be loaded on the other keyboard.

Yamaha knows how to do things backwards for its users.
