WHY 9000 PRO IS THE BEST
The immediate answer is that it has a keybed that is superior to all other arrangers.
It reacts faster; both when you press a key and when you release it again; Aftertouch feels faster than usual.
All buttons are also the fastest, most pressure-sensitive and most precise I've tried.
Next is the dynamic range - the amount of expression and velocity seems greater; the variation in dynamics is wider, which can probably be attributed to the fact that many instruments have long samples with several layers (up to 8), all with different velocities.
Although newer models may have more natural samples, they are not reproduced with the dynamics that the 9KPro achieves.
It is also a fact that 9KPro has a full set of Yamaha XG MIDI voices - the format that has the most and widest parameters which gives the best sound of all formats on the market.
