New Custom Style Korg Pa700

Asking on behalf of a member on my Facebook Group wishing to try the styles out I’ve created on his Pa5x. Not owning one myself can I ask if you did to the styles in order for them to be recognised on his Pa5x?

I guess he needs to know how to import styles..?


PA5X: HOW TO IMPORT/CONVERT STYLES

You must first create 2 folders - SET folder and STYLE folder on a USB stick or internal SD card.

All .STY styles must be added to the STYLE folder
The STYLE folder must be added in the SET folder

Styles from all previous PA models can be imported.
Conversion can only take place by importing to Pa5X, which is done as follows:
Press FILE, and then press MENU.

You will then get a screen window with 3 options - Import/Factory Restore/USB Connection
Select Import, and press SOURCE - the STYLE folder should appear before pressing EXIT & then Import
The process starts, and after finishing the import you press EXIT

Converted files appear in the DRIVES folder as .KST

Here is Musical Memories 2nd style Chill Style 1 MM in Pa5X format.

I have not made any changes - the style is only converted to Pa5X.
