PSYCHOACOUSTICS - HOW DOES THIS SOUND ?

I've talked about this before, but it's more relevant now than ever.
After I started adding real Ambience (Korg's own), this became more apparent than ever before.

I hear this very well with my horns, and my son Arius had heard the same (he also has horns) - he noticed that my edits appeared alive, while the original was dead (dry).
He perceived a psychoacoustic effect, which resulted in it seeming that all sounds had been given Ambience.

I have only done this with drums and perc, but this "transmits" to all other sounds.
A very good example of one influencing the other.

Try and listen closer, and maybe you'll hear it too.
I usually illustrate this by saying that a fan does not have one sound, but 4 to 5, which together form the sound we hear; it becomes like layers in a picture.
