So this evening i've finished my story board for the next Arpeggiator / patterns Pad tutorial. It's very easy to add your own patterns to styles through the four pad knob system
But after explaining how to create the simple arpeggiator patterns I have a section in my story board where I step up the difficulty in a huge way for keyboard players by explaining the arpeggiator polymeters concept and how to use these in your styles and why it's so important to learn how to apply polymeters to keep things interesting. I've added 4 examples that I created for this tutorial and the arp pad results are insane (nobody uses it this way on keyboards, because these are dance producer techniques).
But here is my question,
do you guys have any idea what polymeters or polyrythms are, and what do you think how deep with the theory should I go explaining this concept, (because I really believe this is a very important skill to have)?

Thank you for thinking of making a tutorial for this, which I am very interested in -
all the way to the bottom.
This more than anything else appeals to my creative sense, and is something I discovered when I played two different rhythms at the same time on the Pa5X, mixing e.g. 9/8 together with 4/4, or 7/8 together with 3/4.
The possibilities are, as you say, insane, and enable an infusion of authenticity like no other.
