Why install new sounds, when you can easily create your own ?

If you need e.g. a special acoustic piano, you can create your own sound by loading different models into each Upper 1, 2 and 3.

By adjusting their volume individually and adding desired effects you can achieve surprising results.
You can also combine an acoustic piano with almost anything else, and create a sound that cannot be found anywhere else.

If you are a little more advanced, you can customize each sound you use for this unlimitedly with EQ and effects, and use these instead of the standard sounds.

In a little while I will post my own as Keyboard Sets, and these will all be based on the standard sounds, so that anyone can use them by just loading the Keyboard Set.

Pa5X users with custom resources that you have upgraded to OS v1.3.1 and you then had loaded yourprevious Custom Resources.KST do the following to restore preset settings of Matrix & KAOSS.

HOW TO CREATE THE PERFECT BRUSH

I have always been particularly fascinated by brushes, and tried in vain to recreate the realism from them.

With Pa5X I finally figured out how to do this:
1: By adding a few dB of midrange for the Snare Drum in the Drum Editor
2: By adding Stereo Compressor for Snare Drum as Insert Effect
3: By adding Dynamic Compressor for Snare Drum in Drum Editor

Later I saw that Korg also uses Dynamic Processor for the Snare Drum as an Insert Effect.

This effect effectively reproduces the low frequencies that the brush creates in the drum skin, and by adding Ambience in the Drum Editor, a realism like never before is achieved.
