The video shows the G2 crashing at 1:11.

The G2 is a disaster of an arranger if you want to use RGT or anything from previous models - it crashes over and over again.

Some Korgies were frustrated with the Pa5X, but ALL Yammies really have reason to be pissed off with the Genos2, which is many times worse.

Genos2 - the worst arranger of all time...

The G2 is no different to any other type of electronics.
We know with any keyboard loading 3rd party unknown file qualities can or does cause a keyboard to crash.

Graham

Of course; 3rd party files always pose a certain risk, but that is not what we are talking about here.

Multiple users have found that most things from previous models do not work with the G2, whether this is styles, sounds, RGTs or OTS.
It's actually so serious that much of what you used on the G1 cannot be used on the G2.

It has always been the case that certain things do not work optimally from one model to another, but mostly everything works with a little extra work.
The G2 is not like that, because its system is different, and nothing you do can correct the errors that occur.

It is a fact that those who had G1 cannot use all their files with G2 - many sounds and parameters do not have substitutes, which cannot be corrected by the user.

This does not stop there, because it is even worse - much of the available software does not work with the G2 either.

Korg had some of the same problems getting everything from the Pa4X to work properly, but fixed this pretty quickly, while Yamaha hasn't done anything yet.

And it is important to be aware that the Pa5X has a brand new OS, while the G2 is largely a copy of the G1.
With this, G2 stands out as the worst arranger in Yamaha's history.
