TWO HARD DAYS OF PROGRAMMING

What appeared to be the door of heaven's gate turned out to be a rare nightmare.
After having managed to create a standard way of creating Double Drums & Bass styles, I wanted to refine the style I had created a little.

This turned out to present problems, because the bass became disharmonic regardless of its placement.
I reset Pa5X to factory defaults, reinstalled Style Works and restarted MOTU - same result.

But - fortunately - I had taken a screenshot of the setup in Style Works, and when I used the exact same settings, the bass worked as it should.
NO other configurations work - only this one.

I am not completely satisfied with double drums, but this is due to experience the lack of alternative drum kits, and I know that Kronos' drums work for this, because I did the same thing earlier with Cubase when I created similar styles for Yamaha.

Regardless, this is a big step in the right direction.
