Building up a styles variations - musicalmemoriesuk - 08-18-2022

As you are aware from my posts on style creation from scratch on both my Korg Pa700 and Tyros4.

An important next step once you have grasped the basic mechanic’s of a how to build the tracks of a style, the next important is to create the four variations.

From the simple variation one to the more busy variation 4.

You could do things in reverse by creating variation four and take parts of variations one to three.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I hope you are enjoying this project.

@musicalmemoriesuk
It's a good idea to start at the ends – Variation 1 must fit with Intro, and Variation 4 must fit with Ending.

Variation 2 should contain slightly more details/instruments than Variation 1, while Variation 3 should have even slightly more detail than Variation 2.

Variation 1 should be easiest, while Variation 4 should be most complex.

There are several factors, but these are the main ones where you are now in the process.

I enjoy your project, because there is always something to learn from others, and shared knowledge provides increased knowledge.
