KEYBED OF THE FUTURE ? - Chello - 07-04-2022 KEYBED OF THE FUTURE ? Imagine if ... By opening a menu you could change the torque for the keys. This is entirely possible to do via Service Mode - but only from there. I know of one who has a synth with piano weighed keys. He thought they were a little too lightly weighed, and added 2 grams for each key. The result was a keybed that fit him perfectly. Why can't manufacturers make this available in the standard setup for regular users, preferably with different ready-made presets to choose from? We all have slightly different hands and a slightly different way of moving them, and such an adaptability would have helped to make the individual's performance the best possible.
