Thomann AK-X1100 - Fikke - 05-18-2022
Thomann (the german wholesaler of instruments) recently brought out a new arranger keyboard, the AK-X-1100 which is probably aimed at those who are looking to purchase the Yamaha PSR-SX600/700.
However, the AK-X-1100 is almost identical to the Medeli AKX10. The differences are colour highlighting around the jog wheel and some different lighting of the joystick. The Thomann AK-X-1100 also has less sample memory at 256MB vs 768MB on the Medeli AKX10.
Of course, the big news is that the Thomann AK-X-1100 is over €100 cheaper than the Medeli AKX10.

Thanks for the "warning".
Warning because this is a specially ordered cheap version of Medeli`s AKX-10.
I am absolutely certain in my claim that those who are considering buying one should buy the cheapest from Yamaha instead - it is guaranteed to be much better.
That the industry compares the AKX-10 with the SX models must be seen as a total derailment from reality, and an insult to Yamaha.
By the way, more and more people say that the SX series is much worse than the S series.
Nevertheless:
Comparing Medeli to any Yamaha should, strictly speaking, result in a lawsuit against those who are ignorant enough to commit such an act.
