RAM AND SIZE - IN PRACTICE
Do not think that RAM and its size are always what the number of MB says.
My previous A3000 had 512MB RAM, while my current Pa3X only has 256MB.
Despite this, I can install twice as much data on Pa3X.
I have collected a total of 890MB with sounds in YEM, and could (of course) only install 512MB of these on the A3000.
I have installed ALL on Pa3X, even though I only have 256MB of RAM.
How is this possible?
This is made possible by the fact that Pa3X can compress RAM, plus the conversion of UVN / SF2 to KMP gives half the size of the original.
So do not be fooled by Korg`s low RAM value - it is actually 4 times larger as Yamaha`s - 256MB Korg RAM equals 1024MB Yamaha RAM!
