Having got another PA5X my observations keybed not the best, styles either poorly mixed to loud too quiet.
I bought this with global sounds installed 2024 edition and must say its a mixed bag some brilliant some levels all over the place, also with too much atmospheric effects in places.
Pads excellant, nice sounds.
One observation i have made is how Chellos interpretation of styles have changed over the years.
Some really descent older styles but the newer ones are more lifelike.
The Korg has so much choice for alterations which is mind blowing in the right hands.
Im going to do a direct style comparison lets see what happens.

Interesting observations you make here.
A lot of people have said the same thing as you about the 88 keybed.
I agree that Global Sound's content is a mixed bag, with too much atmospheric effects in many styles.
They have also used external software (obviously ?) quite heavily sometimes, which makes it VERY difficult to remix; this applies especially to drums.
The drum kits from GS that I have tested do not have ambience content either, which reduces their usefulness quite a bit.
My interpretation of styles has changed repeatedly over the last 4 years, but I have in a way returned to where I started by doing as little as possible, and more recently limiting the use of reverb (especially on drum kits), because this ruins the sound.
I consider the acquisition of Global Sound an aperitif, which gives new creative joy to my work.
I have many new projects on the drawing board..!
