Hi All,  just to introduce my self here.  I have been playing the organ since 1977 with a Jen Allegro and then progressed through countless organ and keyboards along the way to my latest toy a Wersi OAX800. Still have a soft spot for the Riha Orchestra organ from years ago - although could never get it stay working for anything longer than 4 weeks at a time !

I worked as an electronics engineer repairing and selling organs and keyboards throughout my career, but now retired - so just writing arranging and playing now.

Thanks - Andy

Hello Andy
What an impressive journey, your passion and experience really come through
Going from the Jen Allegro to the Wersi OAX800, with an engineering background on top of that, must give you a very refined perspective on sound and instruments.
It’s also interesting to see you now focusing more on composition and arrangement. With your background, you probably have a unique sensitivity to how sound "comes alive" whether on an organ or within a broader environment.
Your approach also brings to mind some current explorations where sound, space, and perception intersect, especially in immersive projects that blend technology and artistic creation. These kinds of approaches can sometimes inspire composition in new ways, particularly when you already have such a strong foundation.
In any case, great journey, and I’d love to hear what you’re composing these days
