DAISY-CHAINING

The usual solution when you lack connections is to use Y-connection, which is a bad solution, as it halves the impedance and can degrade the signal; in the worst case, destroy the preamplifier.

A better alternative is to connect the signal from device to device; so-called Daisy-chaining, which does not affect the impedance.

My keyboards/synths are connected like this to the Kronos to avoid using a mixer, and the Kronos is connected to a separate preamplifier which in turn has a pair of HS-5 speakers connected, so that all keyboards/synths have access to these.

The preamplifier has double Pre Out, where one is used for the HS-5, and the other for my STAX headset, which requires its own high-voltage amplification.

I have only used Y-connection from the main preamplifier's PRE OUT to the main power preamplifier and the preamplifier for the subwoofer's power amplifiers.

This means that only the signal to the subwoofer has its impedance halved, which is unproblematic due to its low impedance and high efficiency.
