Kronos is not so difficult to understand anymore.
Maybe this is because I have worked so much with the Pa5X - I don't know.
I have - without having looked at the manual - made quite a few edits for a combination; changed drums and bass, as well as some arpeggios and their complexity.
It is incredibly easy to understand by just trying what is revealed by different choices..!
What I did not figure out with the MODX M is now easy and logical to figure out.
