GEAR4MUSIC - BEWARE

It seems that there is fierce competition among stores to make everything as bad as possible.

According to Gear4music's info, it should be easy to return a product.
It was indeed quick and easy to arrange a return; this happened almost immediately.

So everything should be fine..?

NO - DHL Express was supposed to pick up the item yesterday, but they never came.
They didn't send any message either.
A whole day is wasted waiting from 08:00 to 18:00.

I immediately contacted Gear4music and informed them of the situation, but they have not responded.
I sent a complaint email today - will they respond to this within a reasonable time..?

My customer relationship with Gear4music can be considered terminated anyway.

Gear4music has also started to charge a greedy shipping fee, which is often over 1000 kroner in Norway.

In addition, the price for returns is also very high; about 3 times as high as the normal shipping cost.

Gear4music clearly believes that the customer should pay for their idiotic system, which delivers all products from Sweden to Norway, which causes unnecessary costs for the store (the customer..!).

And if you choose to return the product, it must be sent to the UK, which is even more idiotic (and costly for the customer)..!

I finally got a response back.

I first ordered a new return, where I also clearly expressed my dissatisfaction with the treatment I received - people have to be scolded for you to be taken seriously..!

A little later I received an email from DHL, where they wanted to clarify all information about the return, and that this would take place on 23/03 between 08:00 and 10:00.

Shortly afterwards I received an email from Gear4music where they deeply apologized (standard response..?).

This will be the last time I shop with them anyway.

Today I received another email from Gear4music apologizing for the situation that had arisen.

They presented alternative solutions, and obviously haven't registered that everything has already been sorted out.

So at Gear4music, no one knows what the other is doing - it's no wonder that situations like mine arise when their internal systems and procedures are so flawed.

PURCHASE AMOUNT REFUNDED

Today the money was physically returned to my bank account.

So if nothing else, Gear4music are pretty efficient when it comes to refunds.
