INTERNET DICTATORSHIP - Chello - 02-05-2026 INTERNET DICTATORSHIP It is almost impossible to do anything online without verifying that you are you. And - when you try to log in with your username and password as you always have, you are now more and more often asked to verify your identity by having an SMS sent to your mobile phone. This is not privacy, but personal persecution where the individual is tracked and logged - supposedly to protect his identity. The reality is that identity is being abused like never before - imposed by the authorities. This is not democracy, but dictatorship. RE: INTERNET DICTATORSHIP - Graham UK - 02-05-2026 Chello. Completely agree!!!. Plus...In the UK Goverment has cancelled free speach. Already we have persons in prison for internet postings. Another problem they assume everyone has a mobile phone. I follow up your comment with a political one, which I rarely do; but no rule without an exception, as they say. In Norway, it is also the case that free speech is no longer allowed - people like me are called conspiracy theorists and persecuted and attempted to ridicule. Over the past 25 years, laws have been passed that involve repeated violations of the Norwegian constitution, and the "pandemic" opened the doors wide, with serious violations every day. The EEA also imposes at least one illegal law on us every single day. The UK has fortunately gotten rid of the EU, and Brexit the EEA. The EU/EEA must be dismantled, and the legislation rebuilt to restore our actual democratic rights. This was today's political comment, but I believe it is necessary and in place.
