Hi I'm Simon. I am a mental Health Nurse and more recently, started doing AirBnB hosting with my wife. We have a couple of acres in the middle of Lincolnshire. I've made a Garden of Eden with loads of fruit trees, nut trees, and flowers throughout. So lovely in the Summer.
I play with Keyboards as a way to relax and just love the challenge of learning a new riff or a song, or picking it out my ear. Which I am slowly getting better at.
I have had tons of Keyboards over my life. From a Technics KN800 when I was a teenager. To a Roland Fantom, Korg Triton, Yamaha Montage, and others
My current set up is a Yamaha M8x all linked into Cubase, and a PA5x, which is great, but I am just learning it. I mostly got it to improve my rhythm playing, as I played without a backing track or a metronome for many years.
I have already gotten into making pads and working on styles because I love to tinker with my toys. And the Korg PA5x is great for that. Hope to learn a lot more on this site andkeep on playing and improving for many years to come.
