(Yamaha) SMART CHORD - Graham UK - 05-29-2025 DGX670 had Smart Chord feature available from it's launch day. Must admit me being a full fingered chord play I have not bothered with it, but watching this video I will look into it with more interest. Other Yamaha Keyboards are starting to make this available. RE: (Yamaha) SMART CHORD - Chello - 05-29-2025 ⚅Graham Yes; Smart Chord is definitely something, and should have been standard on all arrangers. The version on the 920 is also much more advanced than the one on the DGX-670, in that the chord type and genre can be selected. Yamaha has done something really good here, which reminds me of OASYS and Kronos' Karma technology. Karma is also far more advanced than Smart Chord, and imagine if this was available on arrangers... Correction... the Chord Type and Genre can also be selected on my DGX670. This makes the DGX-670 even better than I realized, but I don't think I ever noticed how the feature could be used, as this video brilliantly demonstrates.
