Style Writers Korg - musicalmemoriesuk - 01-04-2025 As many of you know I’ve previously created styles on my Pa700 by combining style parts from different styles. They work quite well, but my only stumbling block so far has been intro1 and ending1 which is as far as im aware is a pre recorded sequence that plays before the style starts or ends. I thought with having some members with more of an advanced knowledge maybe they could spread some light on the subject. RE: Style Writers Korg - Chello - 01-04-2025 ⚖musicalmemoriesuk Your problem is strange, because this is completely unproblematic with the Pa5X. If you create such styles from scratch, I can understand your problem. If you use another existing style as a basis and keep its Intro1 and Ending1, then you can change all other parts without your problem occurring. I'm fairly sure that this is the answer to your problem; I did the same as you with Kronos and got nowhere, until I used an existing combi as a basis, and then everything turned out as I wanted. RE: Style Writers Korg - Chello - 01-04-2025 ⚖musicalmemoriesuk Have you tried using the style that has the desired Intro1 and Ending1 as the base style, and importing your edited parts from one of your styles into this one? RE: Style Writers Korg - musicalmemoriesuk - 01-04-2025 I will give it a try RE: Style Writers Korg - titobal - 01-04-2025 Maybe that is related to the fact that Intro 1 and Ending 1 have to be processed with the following guidelines (at creation/design of the style) : To conform to KORG specifications, it is advisable to record both the Major and minor Chord Variations for the Intro 1 and Ending 1 Style Elements. (Taken from the PA4X user manual but should apply to all PA as it appears even in PA5X manual) In other words they require 2 chord variations (2 ”versions”, 1 for Major, 1 for minor) to work as intended by KORG. Just my 2 cents. |
