A fairly fair assessment, with which I largely agree.
I take this liberty, even though I've only had Genos1 and never Genos2.
What I find strange is that he does not mention very important functions, and this applies to both models.
What about the mix quality ?
What about Genos2 Ambient Drums and Style Dynamics Control ?
Not a word..?
What about the Pa5X (like all Pa models) and its ability to loop both intros, fills/break and endings ?
What about the 2 player's truly amazing feature, which is the ability to play 2 styles at the same time when you mix one of them to immediately hear the difference ?
Incidentally, notice his next model for testing, which is the Yamaha DGX-670.
He has discovered some of the same things as me.

Quite a fair assessment, although for 6 year in the making the Genos the G2 was a big disappointment.
The PA5X has made massive strides in terms of technology and flexibility.
Im surprised that more is not made of the pads and there uses.
I agree some woodwind instruments are cleaner on the G2 but the truth is 3rd party companies are selling some voices that are amazing but expensive so this should be addresed easily by Korg.
Not much was said about the strings which in my opinion are far better on the korg which is a big bread and butter Item.
The operating system is more complex on the korg but more rewarding.
Overall i believe the Korg is the superior product, like the new sx920 its only 5% better than its predecessor not so with the Korg, I I just wish Korg would listen more to there customers.

As I don’t own either I can’t make a comparison, but Woody only had access to both models for a short period of time, he hasn’t actually sat down and tested them fully.
I did make a comment in the video saying ultimately the winner is the arranger that is best for you.
I personally think Korg are like an ostrich with its head buried under the sand, many missed opportunities which should be addressed and not really listening to its customer base.
A lot of the support is left to people like us and Paul Carman who have built a better understanding over time.

I forgot to mention one thing:
Why is the Ketron Event omitted ?
Event has many features that none of the others have, but has an interface that requires relearning everything.
I have a very reliable friend who has had all 3, and he says that Event has better sound quality than the others.
I would like to believe that his assessment is correct, because my old Audya has better sound quality than the Pa5X when it comes to internal styles - without any edits being made.
Pa5X is not as good as Audya, even with extensive edits.
Audya also has the best keybed of all the arrangers/synths I've tried; almost as good as OASYS.
He finally chose Genos2 because its interface better suited his use.
