THE SECRET OF THE PAN

When you see that the panning shows position 0, this indicates that the sound is centered in the middle.
However, it turns out that this is not the case at all for many sounds.

For example, try listening (via a good headset) to only an acoustic guitar while carefully adjusting left and right, and you will perceive something strange:
Adjust to the left, and the guitar's bass gets more focus; adjust to the right, and the guitar's upper notes gain more focus.

The effect varies from sound to sound, and drum kit/perc/SFX can produce very unexpected and mind-blowing variations.
I have never registered this on previous arrangers.

And - the fact that I get better results with styles made from midi as well as converted styles from other brands is completely contrary to everything I've read (and experienced), something only the Pa5X is capable of.

When I now listen to converted styles from especially Roland, I see the stage clearly in front of me, and can place the musicians exactly where they should be:
Between the speakers; on stage..!

Internal styles are not like that.
