DOES THIS FORUM HAVE EVERYTHING YOU WISH FOR ? - Chello - 08-19-2024

DOES THIS FORUM HAVE EVERYTHING YOU WISH FOR ?

We have most of it, but maybe we're missing something ?
This can either be stuff for arrangers/synths/DAWs

Or a completely new area for something new ?

Feel free to provide input and ideas.  21

Personally I think the focus on this Forum should be kept on Arranger Keyboards.

There is plenty of other resources for digital audio workstations, but on the other hand as Robinez has shown previously the use of daw software for creating / editing styles.

Yes we can do the majority on board with out Korg Arrangers.

As the Forum it’s in an excellent place to continue growing, with other forums are now sadly closing hopefully this will result in further growth here.

Thank you for your input, which confirms that we have what we should focus on further.

There has already been a certain increase in the number of new members, and hopefully some of these could contribute with whatever resources they may have.

Maybe something on the lines of intergrating a daw with an arranger?

Which daws are best for style creation / etc.

For sometime I use Auducity for editing audio for recordings / videos. It has recently had an upgrade best thing of all it’s free.

Thanks for the tip.
DAWs are good for certain things, and in some cases are the best, but this varies enormously in relation to which arrangement you have.

I have used Audacity for many years, but primarily for transposing midi, until I found it unreliable - the file was often corrupted.

Today I do all transpositions directly in Style Works, which almost always works fine, but it's more work.
However, Audacity has many other useful features.

Many thanks for your request.

I assume that it is the processes on Pa5X that you need to be informed about ?
This is understandable, because nobody has explained this well enough, and Korg's own tutorial only explains the structure of the file system, and not what you have to do when importing styles individually.

Korg's file structure is quite different from other manufacturers, and can seem quite confusing if you are not used to it.

I can make such a tutorial step by step if desired.

I have started to make it, and this should be done relatively quickly, as there are only quite a few things to illuminate.
