I can make a tutorial as soon as I get time - it's not that easy to explain at full speed.

I dont have a clue i pressed record edit pad edit form style say 60 rock then lost

Press the REC/EDIT button
Select NEW PAD
Press the MENU button
Press PAD EDIT
Choose what you want to copy - remember to specify the sound used in the track
After that, the rest is pretty logical
SAVE at the end
