A STRANGE EXPERIENCE - COMPOSING IN SLEEP - Chello - 04-15-2024 A STRANGE EXPERIENCE - COMPOSING IN SLEEP Last night I dreamed that I was playing accordion for my brother. He was dissatisfied with the repertoire, saying that the music was boring; play something else..! I took him at his word, and composed a melody on the fly, which I have actually often done. The strange thing is that I dreamed this, and remembered the composition when I woke up. I still remember it.
RE: A STRANGE EXPERIENCE - COMPOSING IN SLEEP - Graham UK - 04-15-2024 If we believe in After Life it would nice to think your brother was with. We have had a few indicators that there could be something but nothing positive to make one fully believe. Otherwise many people may be wanting to jump ship ? I have been retired now for 30 years but at 87 still dream of calling on my retail accounts. The downside is I no longer get my monthly company cheque !!!. Graham Thank you for your always thoughtful comment. My brother was a very critical listener to my music, but when he said something was good, I knew it was more than good enough. It's quite strange; I often dream that I am arguing with my brother, and sometimes the dream can appear very real. It's not so bad to lose someone when they're there after all. I have been retired now for 11 years. Today I received a job offer from a consultant via Linkedin as a CNC operator at a company in the far north of the country, but I prefer retirement. Money is not everything, although I also miss the network of contacts I had before, which I used a lot to work freelance. |
