MUSIC AND HOW IT AFFECTS YOU - Chello - 09-25-2023 MUSIC AND HOW IT AFFECTS YOU Music has been around us since the Stone Age. Back then, it was used in war-mongering purposes before people went hunting, or when attacks from other tribes threatened. Music has always been used to promote war. Only in recent years has the focus been put on the fact that music also has positive psychological effects - music can be used as a healing supplement in psychological treatment. I would say that there are two forms of music; the instrumental, and the one containing song with lyrics. The latter expands the possibilities for influence, but is in no way necessary to achieve the desired result. Different environments each have their own type of music. People with severe psychosis tend to play primitive music with a primitive rhythm and harmony pattern. Much can be said about your mental state based on which music you prefer. Your musical intellect largely controls the extent to which you are susceptible to propaganda-based music, which has a specific goal of engaging you. Since I was a child, I have used music positively to manage my mood and take care of my mental health, and refused to listen to music that did not suit my needs. For this purpose, a keyboard is a wonderful instrument, because I can shape the music as I want. And play it the way I want. So - if you are not happy with the mood you are in, this is easy to influence by playing suitable music. People like us don't need psychologists. Yes, that's how we all are. Except for me, because I often use the choice of style to choose which mood I want. But I almost always play in Minor, because this gives more room for variable emotions. |
