Do I have a hidden genetic link to Vietnam ?
When I first discovered the effect of using acoustic effects on the drums, it was by playing styles that were made by Vietnamese people.
Almost all styles made by Vietnamese are different acoustically, as they use different effects quite heavily.
I don't know why, but several styles were incredibly rewarding to play.
This was while I had the DGX-670 and I found out that they had used Cubase to create these effects.
After a while of testing I found out what they had done, and started making my own edits with Cubase, but hated working with the program, which is a nightmare to use and understand.
After buying the Pa5X, I will never use Cubase again, as the same effects can be done on the keyboard, much easier than with Cubase.
I discovered a feature today that makes styles with Pa5X very similar to those I made with Cubase for DGX-670.
This new edit can easily be added to the styles I have already created.
All new style edits will have green title text, as well as a new image:
