Rewind - musicalmemoriesuk - 05-12-2023 So following on from yesterdays post about mixing with everything dry first and do we need eq. Inovertantly whilst in the style setting i had changed the velocity settings for the style to start / stop I though there was something wrong with the start / stop button I re installed the os Whilst I was re loading the resources from my backup I went into the global folder and loaded everything apart from the global eq and limiter settngs which I had been using. Now you know its been a mission getting the eq settings etc sounding right. I tested the master eq presets which came with the factory settings. I found the latin settings and the brick wall settings to be best. For along time I thought it was the actual sounds that were incorrect, but no I was the eq. I have also found by adjusting the gain on the limiter the soind so much better. So lesson learned. Sometimes what your looking for is under your nose not like looking for a needle in a haystack.
