Can you get a good mix using just volume and pan ? - musicalmemoriesuk - 05-10-2023

Having watched the full video of Andrews podcast he mentions giving advice to students to try mixing using just volume and pan.

He also say for using daw software to use just one Eq, compressor and reverb plugin that’s it.

@Musical Memories

I am probably much stricter than Andrews, because my belief is that EQ and moderate reverb are sufficient beyond volume and pan.

Any compressor is omitted in my processes.
