Start Of A New Week. - musicalmemoriesuk - 04-24-2023

Thought it might be an idea for members to give a weekly update of what they are working on, on there arrangers. It would be a good way of keeping members posting.

@Musical Memories

They probably don't feel the same way as you and I; but in any case it is in everyone's interest to know what they are doing, if it is only to play.
What do they play and why ?

As always, I am busy with many things:
* Creates styles from MIDI.
* Tests Ketron models' styles for conversion.
* Refutes bug reports and their correctness.
* Finding new features on Pa5X.
* Working on tutorials for Pa5X.
* Have an ongoing communication with Qui Robinez on YouTube about features and tutorials for Pa5X.

I have many exciting projects ahead when it comes to creating new styles, which are based on taking parts from unusual and old styles into new styles.

All of this is possible and extremely easy to do with the "new" features I've been shown by Qui Robinez.

Qui actually helped me quite alot when I waa learning about sound design on my Pa700. He was quite helpful.

Like Chello says we are a few of the people that are interested in going beyond just playing arranger keyboards. Theres so much more if you start digging.

Must come from my days of not just playing computer games.but wanting to learn how to code them.myself.

Same here - I was an alpha and beta tester for EA Games and Auto Club Revolution for many years, and learned to create my own little programs to influence the driving experience.

In the days before the internet I used to get packages from all over with cracked games.

Ironic thing is there was a computer club in a pub alot of copying going on but round the corner was a company called sensible software.

I was also.at that time creating music with tracker programs like many people back then.

Hi ALL,

Trying to get my head around my free 60 day trial of Cubase 12 and its not going well, probably because I am so used to Cakewalk by bandlab

@Bill

I have had Cubase 12.
When I had it, I didn't have time for other things.
You learn a feature in one version and have to relearn it in the next.

I will never make tutorials for Cubase, which has one of the worst layouts in the world.
I don't want to use it at all anymore.
