What was your recipe out of interest?

Oops forgot to read the whole post was just listening to the audio.

What does these setting sound like with a completely contrasting style like a rock style?

The recipe is as written above.

Have you tried the different presets for the type in early reflections ?

Well today has been quite a productive day, now we’ve cracked this nut what’s next ?

Did you adjust the send levels for the other style tracks ?

From experience I think the result will be very different - something will definitely have to be changed, but this setup is the best I've found for jazz.
Better than Kronos.

The key for jazz styles that use brushes is the Snare Drum.
The key for Rock would probably be Bass drum and hihat/cymbal.
The key for Dance would probably be Bass drum, hihat/cymbal and SFX.

Thanks for the tip about using Early Reflections, by the way.

It’s just what I’m picking up after watching and reading a lot of music production material, by no means an expert.

We now need to figure out the best settings for use with the other style tracks and the sounds were playing in the lower and upper parts.

To be honest I didn’t know where today was going I just sat and adjusted the parameters.

Incidentally I’ve taken on board the cutting of eq as opposed to boosting the sounds another area im experimenting in.

But thinking about it as mentioned before a lot of music pre 80s was driven by the snare not the bass / kick. The hats were also quite pronounced.

You can still change the size of the space by adjusting the pre delay.

Here are 2 demos of Liquid Rock.

I was right in my guess so far; the same setup also works with Rock styles, at least this one.
The only extra thing I've done is add Stereo Limiter for Bass Drum and Snare Drum.

I have now tested this setup with all types of styles.

Guess what:
It works with ALL of them !

And the results are better than ever.

The only challenge will be for styles that have something other than reverb in FX3 or / and have effects in Insert FX (icon).
