hard rock styles
#1
Good day to all! I ask for help! A short introduction: I play for myself, at home, for my own pleasure (and so that dementia does not dare to come even close))). I downloaded thousands of styles from all sorts of resources and am completely disappointed ... I realized that the problem is in me, in the fact that the music I play is not played at events, weddings, etc. (I'm sure you will understand me - having fun with Deep Purple))). But the vast majority of all musical resources are intended specifically for such events! I try everything that has the designation ROCK, but ... everything is very sad))). If there is such an opportunity - share - hard rock styles (not heavy!!!), where drums, bass guitar are clearly heard and somewhere far away everything else, so that guitars, horns and everything else leave room for the keyboard part. Well, and when switching variations, the entire auto accompaniment would change ))). Do not consider it impudent to use other people's work and I apologize to those who earn their bread at events. I deeply respect you and appreciate your work!

@Alex

I was in the same situation as you - I also couldn't find desired hard rock styles anywhere.
The few that exist as internal styles on Yamaha and Korg do not fulfill my needs.

Other brands such as Ketron, GEM and Wersi have a much better selection of hard rock styles, and they have more complex patterns that often have more than just 4 bars, which is the most used standard.

Why do most styles only have 4 bars in all variations ?
Because most of the music is in 4/4, and then 4 bars fits perfectly, and is easy to make.

Ketron is here better than others, and my Audya 76 can play styles like no other.
Many internal styles have a different structure to all others, as they are based on 8 bars, where the first 4 are traditionally constructed, while the last 4 have a different, more advanced pattern - very effective...!
Variation 4 often has this type of 8 bars pattern.
Hard rock styles of this type are something for themselves.

There is no software that can convert Audya styles, but this can be done with special software for Audya; Compiler, which can export styles as midi parts, which in turn can be imported into Pa5X as midi parts and converted into styles.
Otherwise, only software such as Cubase is capable of this.

In any case, this is very labor-intensive, and I don't know of any styles that have been converted from Audya to others.
I haven't tried this in practice yet, but probably will.

Another possibility for creating hard rock styles is to use suitable midi songs in Style Works, and create styles with the module Song to Style Converter, which I have done for many years, and still do.
These styles are often better with the Pa5X than the keyboard's internal...!

If you have special wishes about hard rock styles, I can try to make some from midi if I find suitable midi songs.

The result can be good with Pa4X, but never near as good as with Pa5X.

The only way I could think is maybe use midi drum tracks and build something from there.
General Music WK4, Technics Kn5000, Solton Ms60, Yamaha Psr K1, Tyros 4, Korg Pa50sd and Korg Pa700

@Musicalmemories

Yes, this is one way it can be done.

Another is to paste tracks from other styles (also converted) into a new one - a style can be built up with tracks taken from countless styles, but this requires great skill.

This method is relatively easy to use with the Pa700/Pa4X, but much easier with the Pa5X.

Thank you for your answers and understanding!!!

"If you have special wishes about hard rock styles, I can try to make some from midi if I find suitable midi songs."-there are no special requests, I will be glad to any style (since I have already spent a lot of time searching). And you confirmed my suspicions that there is NOTHING DECENT for PA4 (((. My brain refuses to understand this ... how such a wonderful instrument does not have at least something in this style! I surrendered to Yamaha, turned it on and here they are ... normal, already in the set ... with variations, with good drums, etc. In my firm opinion, Korg completely lost this battle (((. BUT ... KORGA has a powerful and juicy sound, so I do not lose hope and will be very grateful for any rock style!!! Thanks again!
