Shockingly low manufacturing quality..!

When I cleaned the Gold 5 for delivery today, I did this in better lighting than I have in my studio.
I got a shock, because I now saw something I had not noticed:

Both speakers both upper corners had a bulge, which clearly reveals low manufacturing quality/control.
Apparently too much glue has been used when the cabinets have been assembled, which has led to a bulge - the glue has caused the mounting hole to expand.

Is this the Tannoy of the future ?
