SOME DAYS, UNREAL THINGS HAPPEN
Like today - I had fine-tuned a style I made earlier, and was reasonably satisfied.
Then I made a mistake:
Instead of saving the changes immediately, I played some midi files and right after this I saved the style I had been working on.
When I then played the saved style, everything was completely different from what I had saved - bass was replaced with drums, all effects were omitted, and all tracks were at the wrong volume - the sound was terrible.
I remembered my settings and re-entered them, but the sound is not what it should be.
I have restarted the keyboard several times, which is necessary when midi files of different types are played, as these crash the keyboard's midi settings after a while.
This is normal, and the Pa5X is the best in that sense; other models have had to be restarted more often.
Nevertheless, this case does not make any sense, because it can almost seem as if some basic settings have been changed.
The only similar case I ever experienced was when I connected my Roland FR-8X accordion to the Pa3X's midi connectors.
This crashed a bunch of basic settings on the accordion and I had to take it in for service.
