Re Intro1 and Ending1 not sounding correct

I asked this question over on Korg Forums this is the response I got

because Intro 1 does not play on the chord recognized on the keyboard but plays a short sequence with a prerecorded chord sequence and melody.
It is the same with ending Ending 1 with its prerecorded chord sequence and melody, while Ending 2 with the chord recognized on the keyboard.

For style elements you don’t have to record all Chord Variations and often you only need to record a single Chord Variation for each Style Element, but exceptions are the Intro 1 and Ending 1, where it is suggested to record both a Major and minor Chord Variations.

For NTT Type/Table combinations "Parallel/No Transpose" is advisable to set on the Intro 1 and Ending 1.
With that standard setting of Intro 1 and Ending 1 (where usually a chord progression is recorded) the chord shape is not modified, and is moved to the new key unchanged. 
The pattern plays exactly the recorded notes, and is moved to the new key as it is.

With Guitar tracks/Guitar Mode choosing the Key/Chord parameter usually sets the chord used for prelistening while programming the pattern. 
But Intro 1 and Ending 1 behave in a different way. Since they contain programmed chord sequences, this is the reference key that will allow the correct transposition during playback. 
Chord progressions for Intro 1 and Ending 1(Chord Variation 1 and 2) have to be entered in the Event Edit page. 
The root notes are entered in the lowest MIDI octave (from C-1 to B-1) under the normal range of a piano keyboard. 
The chord types are determined by selecting a velocity value (“Vel.”), as you can see in manuals table

This is correct - I remember Qui mentioning this, but not in which article.

It's really very simple - Intro 1 and Ending 1 have an unchanged key shape.

I'm not entirely sure, but I think this is what's causing your problem:
(I don't know if this is possible on the Pa700)

If a phrase should be played exactly as recorded instead of the interpretation of the style itself, then you can set that in the NTT (Note Transposition Table) section.

If you set that to the NoTranspose table, it will be played exactly as recorded in that style.

That’s how I’ve set the tracks on the intro 1 style. I will look into if further see if I can figure it out.

Correct; your problem can be solved easily as I said - you just have to know where.
And the video shows where.

So my understanding now is that intro1 and ending1 is that all the tracks are fixed as in if say intro1 tracks for style a is in a major key and the intro1 for style b is in a minor key when these tracks are combined they will sound incorrect. A possible solution would be to adjust the tracks in the step editor. The obvious solution is to use intro2 and 3.

Having watched this video it also might provide a solution, but where I said before you couldn’t copy a tracks from a variation to intro it’s possible to do it using this method.
