Congratulations to all the creative people of this forum!
Allow me to introduce myself, my name is Yuriy.
I am from Ukraine, north-eastern region.
I use Google translator, because my knowledge of the English language does not allow me to communicate freely in it.
I'm glad I found a place for musicians that welcomed me into their community.
I have an education in the field of IT technologies and a musical education. He started playing music from early childhood.
My father worked as a music teacher at a school and forced me to go to a music school in a piano class from the age of 7. Then, from the age of 12, he enrolled me in the school vocal-instrumental ensemble, in which I played the «Weltmeister TO 200.5» electric organ, and then the «Musima Eterna De Luxe» guitar.
Gradually, our ensemble, in addition to festivals, thematic holiday concerts and leisure evenings, began to play at parties and weddings.
From the age of 15, I was invited to work as a full-time guitarist of the vocal-instrumental ensemble of the local cultural center, which played on weekends at dance evenings, and I received a salary for this.
Before serving in the army, he worked as a leader of a variety ensemble in a restaurant. After serving in the army, he studied at a cultural and educational school in the conducting and choral department. For some time he studied at the Kyiv and Kharkiv Institutes of Culture, but at the same time managed a vocal-instrumental ensemble, which at a certain period of time became professional and received permission to tour the territory of the former Soviet Union.
He worked as a sound engineer and electronic engineer at the Municipal Palace of Culture. Gradually, the fashion for computer music affected my professional activity and I had to learn computer and MIDI technology to be in the trend.
Eventually, this led to an education in the field of information technology.
I graduated from Sumy State University and received a Bachelor's and Specialist's degree in IT.
So I changed my profession.
I started doing teaching work, then web development. In general, my professional interests and hobbies are very wide. But music left a special mark in life. Due to circumstances beyond my control, I lost my job, but I did not lose hope! Before the war, I set up a home studio with a variety of musical MIDI and sound engineering equipment. My soul is warmed by the hope that this crazy war will end, God will save us and my studio and I will still be able to realize my old dreams related to music! I was glad to introduce myself to the esteemed society of keyboard players and musicians!
I believe that music can save this world!
