My name is Graham from Lincoln UK.
I have been a past member of Chellossongstyles for a number of years but due to health problems and then computer problems I have not been able for some time to be active.
After past 15 years with Tyros 2 then Tyros5 76 my disability caused a problem with my consentration so I sold my keyboards.
Now Determine to live each day being positive I'm now back into playing again with a new Yamaha DGX670.
The DGX OS is different to the normal Yamaha keyboard OS I'm very used to.

Chello. Thank you for the welcome, It's thank to MusicalMemories for helping me with the new forum details.
I took delivery of a DGX670 few days ago, being an arranger player for many years, DGX is a new experience for me and I'm expecting some frustrations because the OS is different from the normal way of doing things on Yamaha keyboards.
This is my first 88 note weighted keyboard and the quality feel and response of the keybed is excellent and overall gives the impression of being very well built.The style OTS's have been very well balanced. The colour screen's definition is very clear but smaller than it could have been.
This beast is heavy so it won't be moving any time soon.
I would have liked a white one but they have not yet been available, Yamaha UK have no stock at the present time December 21.
Excellent value at £799 UK.

Thanks for the feedback, and thanks to musicalmemoriesuk who has assisted you with new forum details.
I reckoned that you would be happy with your new DGX, because the DGX series keybed is fantastically good, and the mixing is probably as good as Korg`s.
The screen is probably one of the few things that can be perceived as too small, not least since you are a Tyroser.
I share your sense of white finish - I'll have a Korg Nautilus 88 in a while, but this is only made in black.
I hate black.
