How one sound affects another.
#1
I know I’ve discussed layering sounds before but when you layer two / three sounds you don’t necessarily hear both of them but one sound can affect the overall sound.

For example

On my Pa700 If there is a sound that is quite thin layering with the i3 strings sound creates a fatter sound, change the octaves and this changes again.

You might not think the other sound is doing anything but it’s actually affecting the overall sound.

Anyhow let’s hear you comments.

@Musical Memories
- one sound can affect the overall sound.

It DOES.
Any sound that is put together with another has an effect - no matter what.

- change the octaves and this changes again.

Different octaves have different abilities to create standing waves, which greatly affect the sound intensity of different frequencies.
My new Double Drums & Bass styles are an example of this.
